The informations collected in the following work are the guidelines for the construction of wind farms, that have to be used by the proposer. This guidelines are adopted for the proper management of the procedures required in the case of activation of an evaluation procedure regulated by the Regional Law of Tuscany (L.R. 79/98).
These guidelines are aimed at limiting the environmental impacts arising from the construction of wind farms on natural components, landscape and historical and cultural heritage. The main purposes of this study are the development of guidelines for assessing the impact of wind farms and the identification of types of critical areas where the construction of wind farms is not appropriate or is subject to specific requirements.
